The wintry weather from Monday morning is behind us and now we're going to feel spring vibes as we get going Tuesday morning. Temperatures will be steady overnight, even rising after midnight to the 40's and near 50 degrees when it's time to go to work and school.
A quick shot of rain showers will move through overnight, adding up to around a quarter-inch of rainfall. Rain showers will occur around midnight and should wrap up by dawn Tuesday.

A brief December thaw will be felt across Connecticut Tuesday and Wednesday, as temperatures warm into the 40's and 50's. It will be mainly dry both days, except for a little rain early Tuesday and then again late Wednesday.
The next big weather theme will be a cold snap that arrives as we start the winter season (Solstice on Saturday). Day time highs in the 20s to lower 30s with overnight lows from 5-18 degrees early next week.
