Monday Night Weather Blog
After snow showers finished falling across parts of the state Monday, we will enter a period of cold and windy weather conditions, lasting through Friday.
Clouds will decrease overnight, becoming clear by dawn Tuesday. But it will be a deceiving sunshine Tuesday, as temperatures begin the day between 15 and 20 degrees. It will feel much colder throughout the day due to the incessant wind blowing from the northwest.

Wind gusts Tuesday could reach up to 40 miles per hour, then 35 mph Wednesday and Thursday, finishing off the week with 25 mph wind gusts on Friday. Why so windy? It will be due to a strong pressure gradient.
As we look ahead to the upcoming weekend guidance has been leaning towards a coastal storm forming but there are still plenty of unknowns such as the track and overall strength of the system.
Right now, a few snow showers look possible but it's too far out to talk anything specific. Take for instance the European model on Saturday night, which gives us a mainly clear night.
Compared to the American Model which brings us a nor'easter blizzard!
A lot can and will change over the next week so we'll keep you posted!
