The pattern and the weather theme remains the same for now with dry conditions and no rain in sight. Red Flag Warnings continue through 6pm this evening for high fire danger and rapid spread if a fire starts.
Today we saw seasonal temps in the upper 40s to low 50s across the state.

The cold shot will be a bit short-lived with milder air moving in by the weekend.
Unfortunately, no significant rain is expected. We'll be sandwiched between two storms by the end of the week with an area of low pressure diving to our southwest, a high pressure building in, and another stalled across Atlantic Canada. Our dry spell will continue. Gusty winds will increase over the weekend.
Tropics Update
We will likely have our next named storm in the Carribean. Invest 99L has a 90% chance of becoming Sara over the next week.
Still plenty to work out but models have been suggesting the system eventually move to the W/NW and perhaps end up in the Gulf of Mexico. Something to watch for our friends down south but no impacts are expected here locally.
