Our incredible stretch of dry, sunny and warm weather will come to an end. Today we will have mostly cloudy skies and rain showers will move in overnight.
The forecasting challenge is the area of rainfall associated with the "No Name" storm in the Carolinas is going to try to lift north...but high pressure and fair weather will try to hold on and suppress the rain south of us.

If you are heading to CONNECTICUT DAY at the BIG E, I expect lots of clouds, temperatures in the 70s, and a sprinkles can move in this evening.
Showery periods are likely later tonight and tomorrow morning, with the best chances in southeastern CT. More showers will be around tomorrow, mainly in the morning....but the best chance looks like it will fall on Friday and Friday night.
Timing any clearing and fair weather will be difficult to time exactly. Right now Saturday looks grayer and possibly wet, while Sunday looks brightest and fair. This is subject to adjustment.
