It feels more like February than April across Connecticut at the moment, because a cold wind from Canada is ushering this unseasonable air mass. It will be a windy first half of tonight, with gusts up to 40 mph possible through midnight, then the wind relaxes a little bit by Wednesday morning, but not before making it feel like the 20's and 10's overnight.

The sun seems to have disappeared as of late, but it'll make a strong return on Wednesday. It will be a bit deceiving in the morning, because even though the sun will be out, it will be a cold start. Grab the jacket, hat, and gloves!

Temperatures will warm Wednesday afternoon and the wind will begin to diminish slightly. It will feel a little warmer late in the day, but high temperatures will struggle to reach 50 degrees. Soak up any sunshine Wednesday, because clouds will increase on Thursday and stick around through the weekend.

Speaking of this weekend, the UCONN Women's basketball team has its parade this Saturday. Unfortunately, it appears a cold rain will be likely.

Saturday will be a raw, damp, cold day with plenty of rain showers, and even snow showers across parts of central and northern New England.
