Today looks like a stunner across Connecticut with sunshine and temperatures nearly 15 degrees above normal! We are forecasting 66 for a high after a chilly start.
Expect the wind to die down a bit Sunday but with unusually warm weather, low humidity, and the recent dry spell the fire danger will remain high.

Monday and Tuesday will remain fair and mild with highs near 60.
Our next storm will approach Wednesday Night and Thursday. A period of rain is almost a certainty with a chance for some downpours or locally heavy areas of rain. We need it!
Rainfall amounts of 0.5" to 1.0" are expected across Connecticut. This won't be enough to erase the drought but every little bit helps.
Cooler and somewhat cloudy weather will linger beyond the storm for Friday and Saturday.
