Connecticut is in full bloom as spring temperatures awaken the previously dormant vegetation. As a result, you may be stuffy and itchy because of spring allergies. Pollen levels will remain high for the rest of this week, but the rain on Saturday will help a little bit!
Today will feature some passing clouds this morning and plenty of sunshine the rest of the day. Warm highs in the 70s to near 80° inland with 60s at the Shoreline. There may be some low altitude smoke in some areas due to a large wildfire in New Jersey. If you suffer from breathing issues, you may want to take it easy today and tomorrow.

Saturday, our next weather system arrives with clouds and rainfall.
It's unfortunate timing to get rain on the weekend, but we will get beneficial rain for our thirsty ground.
