Winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories are in effect to our north in portions of New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
The rain will wind down by late afternoon Thanksgiving with dry air by evening. Temperatures will be variable across the state Thursday with the storm tracking right over Connecticut. South of the storm track it will be a bit milder with highs in the 50s with much cooler air to the north.
Behind the holiday system, we're expecting a big temperature change as we head into the first week of December with colder than normal weather across New England.
