Coldest morning for many this morning.

Tuesday Weather Blog

A frost advisory has been issued for Litchfield Co Wednesday morning and a freeze watch will be in place for most of the state Thursday morning.

A cold airmass, clear skies and diminishing winds led to one of the colder starts to the day we've had this fall. Weather watchers in Colebrook and Staffordville reported 30 degrees Tuesday morning.

Tuesday featured continued chilly temperatures, a gusty breeze at times and abundant sunshine. A few light showers moved through during the afternoon, many of you reported "sprinkles".

Tomorrow will be a bit of a carbon-copy of today....

A very cold start (frosty)...

With plenty of sunshine, and a breeze.

We will ride the temperature roller-coaster this week and fair weather will dominate the weather theme this week, and maybe next week too!

After sunset, generally 30-60 minutes after the sunset, look west and you'll see Comet ATLAS.

Our celestial wonders continue....we had the April Eclipse, the recent Auroras, and now a comet visible to our naked eye! After sunset, look west and you might just catch a glimpse.
