A few more scattered showers are still possible through tonight as temperatures stay in the 40s for much of the state.

Rain chances will continue into Sunday morning.

By Sunday afternoon, we should see a brief break in the rainfall. The sun may even make a few appearances as high temperatures warm into the 50s. If you have plans to go to the Yard Goats Game Sunday afternoon you'll be in good shape.

Showers will return Sunday night as the final wave of this system will move through southern New England. As temperatures drop into the 30s, a few snowflakes could mix in with these rain showers in northern and northwestern Connecticut. No impacts are expected, but a wet start to the workweek is likely.

Cooler temps in the low to mid 40s will continue Monday through Wednesday. Temperatures will warm back into the 50s by Thursday.

The middle of the week looks dry but rain chances will increase starting Friday and into next weekend.
