Wednesday Evening Weather Blog

After a few clouds this morning, the sun came out, and temperatures warmed into the mid-60s after a cool start in the 30s and 40s.

Tonight we'll stay mostly clear with temps falling back to the lower 40s.

Cooler than average temps are expected for Thursday with highs in the upper 50s to about 60.

It's looking like a good weekend for any fall activities. Temps will be warming back into the low 70s with plenty of sunshine.

It's also looking more and more like fall with high color in Eastern CT and high and peak colors in the NW Hills.

We forecast the low temperatures for the Hartford and Windsor Locks area, but we know there are many communities that can get A LOT colder with the right set up. Looking for the first freeze and/or hard front for the rural areas of the state.

As we head into next week there looks to be a few scattered showers Sunday night and throughout the morning on Monday. After that, we're drier and cooler.
