Back-to-back record heat. Yesterday we saw temperatures reach 84° in Hartford, today we made it to 83°. Today in Bridgeport the old record of 71° was demolished with temps today, 10 degrees warmer, reaching 81°.
In addition to the record warmth, it was very breezy today with wind gusts ranging between 25-35mph.

A RED FLAG WARNING is posted for the state until 7 pm as wildfires can form and spread quickly with weather conditions like these. Most fires start because of human error, so let's be extra careful out there.
Tonight should be a great night for UConn to play vs. Georgia St. Fair weather and nice temps....but bring a sweatshirt as the temps will fall quickly during the battle!
Winds and temps will decrease as we head through this evening with morning lows back to the mid-40s across the state with winds between 5-10mph.
Temperatures will be 20 degrees colder tomorrow and Sunday...
