In addition to torrential downpours, a thunderstorm or two is possible and some storms could be severe.
The heaviest rain looks to be between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m.
The strongest winds have moved out, but wind gusts will continue throughout the night.
Tree damage and power outages are possible. Eversource is reporting about 2,400 power outages.
The worst of the wind has moved to the east of us, and the rain will move out of the state by Thursday.
The storm will bring between two and three inches of rain for most of the state, with a few cities and towns seeing four inches.
A flood watch is in effect for northern Connecticut, however, urban street flooding is possible across the state.
