Our NBC Connecticut meteorologists are tracking snowfall that could accumulate and cause some travel issues in parts of the state Wednesday night into Thursday.
After temperatures fell into the teens and low 20s Monday night, Tuesday will warm up with highs around 40 degrees.
Clouds will increase on Wednesday with a few rain or snow showers by the evening.

A burst of snow and rain overnight into Thursday morning is likely, and the morning commute could be tricky.
We could see a coating to as much as 2 inches of snow away from the shoreline. In some of the higher hill towns along the Massachusetts border, 2 to 4 inches could stick by Thursday morning.
Snow is expected to start around 9 p.m. on Wednesday and continue through to 8 a.m. on Thursday.
The shoreline is expected to see slightly higher temps, meaning snowfall accumulation will be little if anything.
Friday and the weekend will be cold.
