NBCUniversal Media, LLC

Our StormTracker meteorologists are tracking some snow that could cause slippery road conditions in the morning on Christmas Eve.

Temperatures will be in the teens and 20s and there will be periods of light snow in the morning.

The snow is expected to start between 5 and 7 a.m., and it should end by 11 a.m.

Our meteorologists say the snow will be mainly light, but roads could still be slippery.

A dusting to one inch of snow is likely, with up to 2 inches in the Northwest Hills.

If you're traveling, expect a more significant snowfall across parts of northern New England, with winter weather advisories and winter storm warnings posted for portions of Vermont and Maine.

In the afternoon, it will turn milder and brighter with highs in the 30s.

Christmas looks sunny with highs between 35 and 40.

Thursday to Sunday will be dry and fair.
