Winter storm watches and warnings have been issued and our NBC Connecticut StormTracker meteorologists are tracking a snowstorm that is expected to bring significant snow for most of Connecticut this weekend.
The storm will develop on Saturday evening and night and will continue into Sunday.
Winter storm warnings have been issued for Hartford, Tolland, Windham, northern New Haven and northern Fairfield counties until 1 a.m. Monday.

Winter storm watches have been issued for Middlesex, Litchfield and New London counties.
Gov. Ned Lamont is urging people to stay off the roads once an emergency is declared. He said hundreds of plows would be out and called for people to let the drivers do their jobs.
State officials said crews have been pretreating roads and trucks and snowplows are ready.
They warned that it is dangerous to crowd the plows or try to pass them and ask that people stay home, stay off the roads, slow down, and not crowd the plows.
State police ask anyone who plans on driving during the snow to remove snow and ice from their vehicle and to drive slowly.
Saturday will be cloudy and chilly, and the storm will begin between 4 and 7 p.m. A winter storm watch has been issued for all of Connecticut away from the shoreline.
Snow will continue through midday Sunday, coming down heavy at times. Then another storm might bring rain or ice by Tuesday.
