Temperatures remain cold for start of new workweek

NBCUniversal Media, LLC

This weekend's cold weather is sticking around for a little bit longer as temperatures remain cold for the start of the new workweek.

Lows will drop into the single digits for much of the state Sunday night, but thankfully winds will gradually calm through the overnight hours.

Still, temperatures will remain cold through Monday. Highs will be in the 20s.

We won't cool too much through Monday night as clouds increase ahead of a chance for light snow into Tuesday.

Light snow will be possible late Monday night through midday Tuesday with accumulations up to an inch expected at this time.

If there are any travel impacts, they would be minor on Tuesday morning/midday.

Highs on Tuesday will be in the 30s.

For Christmas Day, it will be partly cloudy with highs near 35. It will remain dry for the first night of Hanukkah.
